Domain
Trisha Hassler's new series of sculpture will be presented for its first viewing at High Desert Gallery in Bend, Oregon. This exciting new direction turns Trisha's work inside out and allows the viewer to intimately connect with the hopes and dreams found inside the protective dwellings, grouped as a village.
The Domain series reflects the choices we make for living harmoniously with our families and surroundings. The work is inspired by our need to embrace an authentic life experience daily. Each domain is assigned it's own unique address, so we can always find our way home.
By using strong industrial grade steel for the dwellings, the fragility of our hopes and dreams are protected and nurtured inside. The explosion of fringe around the edges helps entangle and confuse negativity, keeping our dreams safe and sound.
Come see the work first hand and meet Trisha
