Paula Benjaminson (SAQA Oregon/Canada) will be teaching a Stampin’ Safari workshop at Fibers in Motion in Portland on Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 10 to 5. In the workshop, Paula teaches printing with hand-carved wooden blocks from Oshiwa Designs in Namibia, Paula’s former home in Africa. She'll cover everything from choosing fabric paint, tackling different surface design techniques for preparing backgrounds, embossing velvet, and foiling with the blocks. For info on the Stampin’ Safari workshop, please call Fibers in Motion at (503) 977-2758. Info on the Oshiwa blocks used in the workshop can be found here. More photos of Paula’s work can be found on Paula’s blog. (Photo by Annaliese Moyer.)
