Paulette Landers, a SAQA member who divides her time between California and North Bend, Oregon, and who is a member of the Valley-South parlor group, won an Honorable Mention at Houston last night, in the category Art, Abstract, Small, for her quilt Cosmic Tango.
Sherri Culver won a third place at Houston in the Art-People, Portraits, and Figures category for her quilt Emmy Tovo. Sherri is fairly new to the Portland area and participates in the Portland parlor group.
