Contemporary quilts are a wonderful balance between the traditional, modern and abstract.
Artists have taken a primarily utilitarian form and used it as an interpretative tool to express their thoughts and ideas. In addition to using the traditional methods of piecing and construction, these artists have pushed the boundaries by incorporating new materials and technologies.
THE ArT- QuILT ExPERIENCE exhibit celebrates the diversity and innovation found in today’s quilts.
