Central Oregon Pod Studio Tour

Studios…what works and what doesn’t  were dissected in a lively discussion at Central Oregon SAQA’s March meeting.  Cork floors, ball chairs and storage behind sliding doors used for design walks were all pluses in creating an effective work space.  Negative...Not enough storage and poor lighting topped the list.

The group enjoyed a tour of June Yaeger’s purpose-designed studio space in her Sisters’ home.

A terrific show and tell included updates on work for the group’s Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show exhibit.

Members Tierney Davis-Hogan and Betty Anne Guadelupe will have a two-woman show at Twigs Gallery in Sisters beginning March 25.  An opening reception will be Friday, March 25 from 4-7 pm

Next meeting will be April 14 from 3-4:30 p.m. at the Stitchin’ Post in Sisters.  This is the SECOND Thursday (instead of the regularly scheduled third Thursday) due to a scheduling conflict.
