Patty Hawkins, renowned quilt artist from Colorado will be teaching a week long workshop, Collage the Essence of Landscapes, Colors, and Shapes, at the 2013 Art Quilt Symposium in Sisters Sept. 23 - 27. I have heard Patty speak at two SAQA conferences and she is a delightful, accomplished instructor. The workshop will begin with the writing of a Haiku to introduce the subject.
