MIX will have a show at the Chessman Gallery in Lincoln City. The opening will be Friday, October 14th from 5-7 pm and the show runs through November 7th, 2016.
The eight MIX artists have created a collection of fiber art pieces
exploring the extremes of color, form and materials. In addition, there
is a series of small abstracts based on a single photograph, and
another series of small pieces inspired by the city of Portland. The
artists have also produced a number of 3-D pieces in fiber, with a
variety of approaches and themes. Members of the group are Kathy
Blondell,Lynn Anderson, Valri Chiappetta, Betty Daggett, Diane Losli-Britt, Annette McFarlane, Elaine Millar and Hilde Morin.
Gallery hours are 10 am to 4 pm, every day but Tuesday (closed) and it is located in:
