Our upcoming meeting will take place June 18th, Thursday, 2-4pm at The Stitchin' Post. Tonye Phillips will show a selection of her work and talk about her fabrication and creative process. We’ll also hold the reveal for our Blending Poetry & Cloth quilts.
Everything is coming up roses for SAQA this year. Ten different museum shows have been secured and the Fiberlandia conference was sold out and full of compelling events, panels and classes. The conference definitely exceeded my expectations. We'll tell you a bit about it in the June meeting.
Bring your Blending Poetry & Cloth quilts and new quilts to share. (Register these quilts at the SAQA website June 1-30) See you there!
